New year=crazy life

Life seems to be in fast forward for me these days. It seems only yesterday I was getting married, and now I have two kids!!
Keith is getting so big and so grown up. He likes to help with little Rosann, but sometimes he's TOO helpful. We've caught him sharing his food with her multiple times and last night he tried giving her a drink of milk from his sippy cup. Rosie doesn't mind, but she hasn't gotten sick yet from his sharing. She ate half a slice of bread the other day before we realized that Keith had given it to her. Luckly it didn't have any peanut butter or anything else on it.
Keith LOVES being outside and playing with or riding in or watching cars. He is ALL boy. Every morning he asks if he can go out "sigh" and play with his "caah". Since its been snowing and i don't go outside when its cold, he's had to find other things to entertain himself. His new favorite pass time is throwing things down the stairs. At the end of the day his toy box is empty becasue all of his toys are at the bottom of the stairs. Sometimes through out the day i even have to go down and get some of his toys so that he has something to play with. He's such a funny kid.
We've been teaching Keith some sign's for everyday things like eat, drink, water, bread... He uses his signs really well, but recently he has started to just try and say words and not do their sign. For example, the other day he asked where Eliza was. She was at school, so i said "Eliza's at school". Keith sat their for a moment thinking this over and then said "liza... cool?". Obviously he needs to work on his S's, but the fact that he just thought about it for a minute and then was able to mimic the word almost immediatly really surprised me. I know I'm a first time Mom, but my son is pretty stinkin' smart. ;)
Little Rosann, or Rosie as we like to call her, is FINALLY gaining some weight....sort of. At her 4 month check up she was in the 97% for her height but only the 35% for her weight. However, she does have a few rolls on her legs now, so I'm not too worried about her. She just isn't as big of an eater as Keith. She eats regularly, but when Keith was 4 months he would eat 9 oz of milk at a feeding PLUS a jar or two of baby food. Rosie maybe eats 4-6oz of milk at a feeding and sometimes half a jar of baby food in a day. :D Boys and girls are SO different.
Rosie has started rolling over! Keith never really rolled over, he hated being on his tummy. But Rosie loves laying on her tummy and she loves rolling all over the place. I think she may start trying to crawl soon, because when she sees a toy she wants she'll roll onto her tummy, push her face into the floor and with her bum in the air wiggle as fast and as hard as she can. Its pretty funny to watch her bum waving in the air and she's not going anywhere. After she gets tired of that, she'll just roll until she can reach the toy.
As usual, I've attached a million pictures of my kids. They are in order from newest to oldest, so if you want to look at them in a semi-chronological order, you can start at the bottom and work your way up. ;)

Waking up from a nap. She's usually really happy when she wakes up.

Keith thinks the Eliptical is a swing.

Getting ready to crawl.

Playing in the 'weeee' (swing)

My big girl's starting to sit up.

Keith is such a handsome kid!! He wouldn't smile because i took his binkie out of his mouth for the picture.

Ready to go out 'sigh' and play some ball.

She was eyeing the piece of bread on the tray.

Keith was pretending that the box was a bath tub and he wanted to wash Rosie.

I love baking, and these cinnamon rolls looked SO good I just had to take a picture.
The ever helpful Keith.

Just because she doesn't eat as much as Keith doesn't mean she enjoy's it less.

Keith made a pillow fort and he wanted Rosie to play in it with him.

Our little Princess after church.

Keith stole the Christus from my room and wanted to keep it in his room. I moved it to a shelf, but I let him keep it in his room.

Reading to rosie.

Aunt Dana wrapped rosie up in this blanket and had a little photo shoot with her.

Crashed out at Uncle Keith and Aunt Dana's during christmas break.

Opening presents christmas morning.

On our way to Oklahoma for Christmas break.
Playing with cousin Zak in Oklahoma.

Keith is getting so tall! He's starting to look like a toddler. I'm not at all surprised that Rosie is not as big as Keith - he's a CHUNK. Ack! I love chunk babies. :)

Your kids are adoreable. Keith is certainly all boy and Rosie is quite the girl.
Just an FYI, you did barely get married! You are doing amazing with the kids you have. Two is a lot in a little over 2 years. You seem to keep it all together!
